Rupa Vira’s The Signature brings the inspiring signature authentic Indian Flavors with wide ranging culinary influences to Washington Metropolitan Area. Chef Rupa Vira’s food is well known within the South Asian community in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. Her signature cooking style is well appreciated by everyone.

As a host / hostess your main responsibility is to greet guests in a timely manner upon their arrival. Your goal is to welcome our guests in a warm / friendly manner. Further, you will be responsible for various customer service tasks including taking phone orders, taking customers orders, etc.

Major responsibilities may include:

• Manage reservations & wait list
• Greet and seat guests
• Answer phone and questions regarding menu and restaurant
• Interact with guests as they leave the restaurant in order to ensure positive dining.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong communication and verbal skills in order to communicate with guests and co-workers
• Must be able to read and write
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability of multi-task

Job requirements:

• Ability to carry upto 30 lbs
• Bending, reaching and stooping frequently
• Standing during entire scheduled shift
